   Met him through mutual friends online. We liked each other the minute we spoke. Talked for four hours on the phone, then he came over and we talked another five hours. We were together for 14 months and I loved him with everything I was. Then the red flags started and his sneakiness began to get to me. We were on again and off again but he'd only been divorced for about 18 months and I felt he just needed time. So I was patient. He introduced me to his family... his friends and we were great when we were together. He travels with his job and when he was away he became different. Argumentative and mean. But when he was home we were happy and laughing, but then the arguments we had while he was away began to affect us when we were together. Two weeks ago he came to visit and stayed almost 10 days. He confessed cheating on me when we first started dating and begged me to forgive him. We talked and cried and swore we'd make it work. He told me he loved me for the first time since we met and we were so happy.

   Two days later I get a call at work and the girl he told me he had cheated with was breaking up with her live in boyfriend because she and my boyfriend kept getting caught texting. Not seeing each other, just texting. When I asked him about it he said he'd tell her he wasn't a "single" man anymore. {which he maintained the entire time we were "dating" that he was a single man.} I thought we'd worked it out. That night he called and we were fine... until he brought up the girl again. I admitted I wasn't comfy with him being "friends" with her anymore since he'd already cheated once with her. He blew up and told me he just made a decision and he didn't want to be with me anymore.

   The next day I tried to talk to that chick and of course I'm sure she told him. So I got a barage of hateful text telling me to never contact him again and an entire book of hateful names got thrown at me. The man now acts like he hates me. He claims he wants us to remain "friends"... but he's not friendly at all. He's down right MEAN.

   What did *I* do? Seems to be the only thing my heart can say right now?? I'm just lost.

   I don't know that I want him back... because right now all I feel is hurt and anger. But I miss the guy the used to be when we first got together.

   I just want to HEAL.
